Every NKINK tattoo artist, including apprentices and visiting guest artists, is legally required to hold up-to-date Swiss credentials.
- The Requirement: All artists must complete certified hygiene courses, infection-prevention training, and first-aid focusing on skin trauma.
- The NKINK Standard: Our staff renews this training every 5 years as mandated, ensuring cutting-edge knowledge in blood-borne pathogen prevention (HBV, HCV, HIV).
2. 100% Disposable Equipment & Sterilization Protocol
Cross-contamination is virtually impossible at NKINK due to our strict single-use mandate and medical-grade sterilization workflow.
- Single-Use Mandate: We use 100% single-use, disposable materials for all needle cartridges, ink caps, razors, gloves, and surface protective barriers.
- Autoclave & Reusable Tools: Any reusable metal tools (such as grips or clamps) are immediately submerged in a medical disinfectant bath, mechanically cleaned, and subsequently sterilized in a registered autoclave compliant with EN 13060.
- Traceable Documentation: We maintain rigorous sterilization logs and execute monthly autoclave spore tests, keeping the studio fully prepared for spontaneous FSVO inspections.
