When our founder, Noemi Kovacs, opened the doors on June 10, 2024 (originally Bern Tattoo Studio), her vision was clear: to move away from the traditional dark aesthetic and create a transparent, welcoming studio where your tattoo dreams come to life—all under the most stringent standards of quality and hygiene. That commitment is now perfectly captured in our new name: NKINK.
We are more than just a tattoo shop; we are a dedicated space for collaboration, artistry, and safety.

We’ve meticulously designed our space to ensure your comfort from the moment you step inside until the moment your artwork is complete. The studio is bright, open, and divided into two distinct areas:
1. The Waiting Area: Relax and Collaborate
This is a cozy, relaxed space built for comfort and discussion.
- Complimentary Refreshments: Help yourself to our minibar, stocked with free coffee, tea, or a snack (cookies, protein bars) to help you relax and stay energized.
- Design Consultation: We always recommend a pre-session meeting here. Relax, browse our design catalogs, and let’s test different designs and sizes in front of the mirror to find the perfect fit before we start the actual work.
2. The Work Area: Where the Magic Happens
This is our dedicated, controlled environment for tattooing. To maintain a sterile and focused space, access to the work area is restricted:
- Age Restriction: Clients must be aged 18 and over.
- Strict Policy: For hygiene and focus, food, smoking, and pets are strictly not allowed.
Your comfort is paramount, and we’ve thought of every small detail.
3. Private Client Restroom
A clean, private toilet is available exclusively for clients. This is also where we can show you the proper technique for cleaning your new tattoo for the very first time.
