Welcome to NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noemi Kovacs in Bern!
We are dedicated to providing a safe, hygienic, and professional environment, adhering to all Swiss legal requirementsand the “Good Practice” guidelines of the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO).
By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Service Agreement
1.1 These terms govern the provision of tattooing and related services by NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács in Bern as agreed upon between the client and the tattoo artist.
1.2 By booking an appointment or receiving a tattoo, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Clients are required to sign and date a physical copy of this document upon their first visit to the studio, signifying their agreement. Both the client and the studio will retain a copy for their records.
2. Booking, Consultation & Payment Policy
2.1 Mandatory NKINK New Project Consultation
Every client must attend a one-hour NKINK New Project Consultation (CHF 100) before booking their first/next tattoo.
During this meeting, clients will:
- Complete all required studio documentation and health declaration.
- Read and sign the NKINK Terms & Conditions.
- Receive Price Estimate
- Receive detailed information about studio policies, before-tattoo preparation, aftercare, payment system, and touch-up procedures.
- Learn how to prepare for their tattoo day and care for the fresh tattoo afterward.
This consultation ensures full understanding of how NKINK operates. The CHF 100 consultation fee can be credited toward a tattoo booked within six (6) months from signing the NKINK Tattoo Contract.
2.2 Free Daily Consultation Slots (Short Meetings)
Every day, NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács offers three 15-minute free consultation slots for quick discussions or initial project reviews.
Available times:
- 11:30 – 11:45
- 15:00 – 15:15
- 18:45 – 19:00
These meetings must be pre-booked (available online via the website). They are intended for short discussions only and do not include design work or documentation completion.
2.3 Custom Designing & Extended Consultations
For clients requesting personalized design development or longer discussions:
- 30 minutes – CHF 50
- 60 minutes – CHF 100
These extended consultations require personal booking in the studio. The consultation or design fee must be paid at the end of the meeting. This service is considered delivered professional work and therefore cannot be used as a deposit.
2.4 Tattoo Pricing, Deposits & Prepayments
- Hourly rate: CHF 200
- Pricing Estimate: NKINK provides a time and price estimate upon booking, which may vary depending on the final design, size, body part, skin condition, and pain tolerance. Therefore, fixed prices cannot be guaranteed.
- Deposits: Each tattoo booking requires a deposit of 30% of the estimated session value, minimum CHF 100. The deposit secures your appointment and will be deducted from the total tattoo price on the final session.
- Payment Methods:
- If paying by bank transfer, the full session prepayment must arrive in our account at least one (1) week before your appointment.
- If paying by TWINT or PayPal, any transaction or handling fees are the client’s responsibility.
- The preferred payment method is cash, as “100 CHF is 100 CHF” — with no additional processing fees.
2.5 Cancellations, Rescheduling & Administration Fee
- Any change, rescheduling, or cancellation less than one (1) week before the session incurs a fixed administration fee of CHF 100.
- Cancellation within one week (7 days): A minimum CHF 100 or 10% of the prepaid amount (whichever is higher) will be retained.
- Cancellation within 48 hours: A minimum CHF 100 or 30% of the booked session value (or the full prepaid amount, whichever is higher) will be retained as a cancellation fee.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows: The entire prepayment is forfeited.
- Late arrival: The original booked time will still be charged, even if the session is shortened.
- If the client shortens or changes the session for personal reasons, the full booked session amount remains payable.
- If the studio must reschedule, a gift voucher or credit note may be issued to balance the time.
2.6 Consultation & Designing Credit Policy
- Design fees are delivered services and therefore cannot be used as deposits.
- As a bonus gesture, NKINK may credit the New Project Consultation fees toward a tattoo booked within six (6) months of payment.
- If the client cancels, reschedules, or fails to appear, the consultation or design credit becomes invalid.
- Credits not used within six (6) months automatically expire and cannot be reapplied.
2.7 Aftercare Products
Due to increasing cases of allergic reactions to cosmetic products, NKINK can no longer provide free aftercare items. All aftercare products are available for purchase at the studio and must be paid for on the day of purchase. Clients are responsible for ensuring the selected product suits their skin type.
2.8 Gift Vouchers
- Valid for 1 year from the purchase date.
- Can be used as full or partial payment, including as a deposit.
- The same cancellation policy applies to voucher bookings.
- Expired vouchers can be reissued for an administration fee of CHF 100.
2.9 Agreement
By booking a tattoo, paying a consultation or design fee, or making a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to this Booking, Consultation & Payment Policy of NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács.
3. Consent and Age Requirements
3.1 You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo.
3.2 Tattooing of individuals under 18 is strictly prohibited.
3.3 All clients must sign a release consent form before and after tattooing.
4. Health and Safety
4.1 It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or concerns that may affect the tattooing process or your health.
4.2 NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács reserves the right to refuse service if there are any health or safety concerns.
4.3 During the procedure, your skin will be cleaned and disinfected. Shaving, if necessary, will be done with disposable razors followed by antiseptic application.
4.4 You agree to follow all verbal and written aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and minimize infection risks.
4.5 You will receive detailed care instructions, including how to recognize signs of infection and when to seek medical help.
5. Design Approval and Modifications
5.1 You will have the opportunity to review and approve your tattoo design before the tattooing process begins.
5.2 Modifications requested after the tattooing process has started may incur additional charges.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Original designs created by NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács remain the intellectual property of the tattoo artist.
6.2 You may not reproduce, sell, or use the design for any purpose without explicit written consent from NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács.
7. Photography and Use of Work
7.1 NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács may photograph the tattoo artwork for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and print materials.
7.2 By receiving a tattoo, you grant the studio the right to use these photographs without any compensation.
7.3 If you have concerns about the use of photographs, please inform the studio in writing before or immediately after the tattoo session.
8. Collection of Personal Information
8.1 NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács may collect and store personal information such as your name, contact details, and ID for legal compliance and service provision.
8.2 Your data will be handled according to Swiss Data Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
8.3 By using our services, you consent to this collection and usage.
9. Hygiene Standards and Practitioner Prerequisites
9.1 NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács adheres to strict hygiene protocols using disposable needles and sterilized equipment in compliance with FSVO “Good Practice” guidelines.
9.2 All practitioners have completed certified hygiene, safety, and first aid courses.
9.3 Consumption of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited during work hours.
9.4 Practitioners are aware of bloodborne infection risks and follow all protective measures. Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended.
10. Studio and Workspace Hygiene
10.1 A hygiene plan known to all employees is strictly followed.
10.2 The studio and workspace are kept clean, ventilated, and well-maintained. Smoking is prohibited.
10.3 Surfaces are smooth, disinfectable, and easy to clean. Materials are stored dust-free. Dedicated sinks with disposable towels are provided. Waste bins are emptied after each treatment.
11. Work Instruments and Materials
11.1 Single-use items are discarded immediately after use.
11.2 Reusable tools are cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized after each use.
11.3 All materials comply with Swiss safety and labeling regulations.
12. Cleaning and Disinfection
12.1 Work areas are cleaned and disinfected before and after every client.
12.2 Sterilization is performed using regularly serviced autoclaves.
13. Emergency Measures
13.1 Practitioners are trained to handle exposure to blood or bodily fluids, including proper cleaning and disinfection.
13.2 Emergency procedures are implemented according to the hygiene guidelines.
14. Compliance and Reporting
14.1 A responsible person ensures ongoing compliance with hygiene and safety standards. 14.2 Documentation of all hygiene checks is maintained for inspection.
14.3 NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács is officially registered and inspected by the cantonal health authorities.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1 These Terms are governed by Swiss law.
15.2 Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
Final Declaration & Tattoo Contract
By signing below, the Client certifies that they have read, understood, and accepted the complete Terms & Conditionsand Booking, Consultation & Payment Policy of NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács, and voluntarily consent to proceed with tattoo services under these terms.
With this signature, the Client also confirms that their identification and signature apply to all future online PDF documents, consent forms, and agreements provided by NKINK Tattoo Studio – Noémi Kovács, unless otherwise revoked in writing.
All personal data, including digital copies of documents and signatures, will be stored securely in accordance with Swiss Data Protection Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Such information will only be used for purposes of legal compliance, service provision, and client record-keeping, and will never be shared with third parties except where required by law.
